At the weekend I admitted to my mates that for me the sexiest person ever on TV is the character Olive from the 1970s sitcom `On the Buses`, and that I also have a thing for the charcater Heather in Eastenders. I told them that I keep scrapbooks with their pictures and do on occasion use the images for `relief`. They all looked at me like Im mad and some seriously suggested I should seek professional help. My best friend is not really the girly-girl type. She is a farm girl who loves horses. She is 16 years old, just getting her license. She runs track and cross country. She does not wear make-up and doesn’t have her ears pierced. I have gotten her clothes and made a scrapbook last year. She is pretty smart. She loves puzzles and watching movies. But she has every movie under the sun already. On the occasion she likes to play board games. She paints her nails. Well, that about sums it all up about her. Please help! Thanks!

I have been with him for awhile now and am all out of ideas for presents since we buy each other gifts for every occasion possible, he buys me presents for our half anniversary, our anniversary, birthdays, christmas, valentines day, even stupid stuff like when I have a big exam or am stressed about my schedule he buys me something. I need ideas that are different and he will still absolutely love, I have already done clothes, cologne, two scrapbooks, six picture frames, cookies/pie/cake, made him dinner, shoes, two very nice necklaces, took him to a yankees game(his favorite team), took him to a Bruce Springsteen concert, and took him to a Eric Clapton concert because they are his favorite bands. He is 19 years old so if anyone has ANY ideas for me, please help!

Alright, so I have a girlfriend who is turning 17 years old. We’ve been going out for about a year and 4 months now. Her birthday’s coming up, it’s on august 16th. I’ve already got her birthday presents, but usually whenever there’s a special occasion like this, we make something for each other. For example, for our one year anniversary, my girlfriend made me a scrapbook filled with pictures of all our favorite memories. I was thinking I’d like to do something like that for her, except it has to be different… I can’t seem to think of anything. Aww so sweet lol. umm well you could get a favorite picture of you to and frame it..sweet n simple.
or you could recreate a memory and take her to her favorite place to be.
make a picnic with all her fav foods and take her to a near by forest hold her hand till the sun goes down. tell her you love her kiss her till your out of breath. take her in your arms and say you wont let go….woah sorrry i was in my own little vortex of a sweet time! lol i hope this helps.

Ok, so v-day happens to be me and my girlfriends one year mark.

I been debating on getting this custom blanket with pictures of all the pictures we took together but i really hated the quality of the blanket and wouldn’t want to give her something that seemed cheap.

Then I was looking at diamond earings (diamond jewelry to be exact) and i found a 1/2 carrot diamond earing for less than $400 that seemd to be a really good deal.

Those were my two gifts that i was planning on getting my girlfriend, but the thing is that I really don’t know what would seem a better gift. I been thinking of making a scrapbook along with a present to show some sentimentalism, but I just don’t know what would be a proper gift on this occasion.

Any help would be appreciated, just nothing about sex please.

My high school sweet heart of all 4 years of high school proposed (I was 17), I said yes. I look back now, and obviously I think to myself that I was way too young. We ended up breaking up at the beggining of my senior year, I decided that I was going to school out of the city, he decided he didn’t want to attend college, obviously we wanted VERY different things out of life.

The same year I met and started dating a guy who was 5 years older than me. I ended up getting very homesick and moved back to Phoenix. My mom did not want me to date the older guy so he asked me to move in with him. We were only together at the time for a couple of months. After living together for 6 months (a very disfunctional realtionship) he proposed, I said yes. We had a date set and everything. He became violent on more than one occasion… he hurt my mom’s dog while we were house sitting and I decided that was it….. to hurt a defenseless creature was beyong my comprehension. I broke up with him moved back in with my mom. I tried to stay happy single and figure out what I wanted.

Then BAM, I met a marine stationed at Camp Pendleton 6 months later. We casually dated for a few months, then I was his girlfriend, and now 8 months later he’s asking me to marry him. I’m not taking it too seriously, there’s no ring on my finger.

Is there something wrong with me? Am I sending out a signal that says MARRY ME or something? I work at an elementary school (I"m going to ASU for my BA in education), my friends, family and coworkers would all describe me as caring, nurturing, and cute. I like to cook and bake and scrapbook. I love kids. I’ve always been able to see myself getting married young, but I’m afraid that people just won’t take my relationships seriously anymore….

Premarriage counseling should be in your future, no matter who the guy is. There is nothing wrong with putting in a little time in a marriage. You’re still young…enjoy life!
