I am making my parents a scrapbook for Christmas this year and i want to start working on it early. My parents have been there for me and my seven other sibling all our lives so i want this scrapbook to be special. I want to make a 5-page (small pages) scrapbook for a birthday but the birthday is in five days. Is this too little time?

It depends on you! It takes me a long time to make an album because I work slowly. I’ve had friends make an entire album in a night. Go for it!

I dont want to make scrapbook PAGES with the scrapbook paper. I just want to make something like cute with it. But i dont know what i would do with it?? Some one have any ideas or GREAT links?

You could make a lot of things! You can take a raw/plain frame from the bargain bin and adhere the patterned paper and buttons to it to make a nice picture frame. You can add your items to a plain jar and make a wish jar (I did this one time to save money for a trip to a day spa–never went though, LOL) You can also make greeting cards.

I wanted decorate a plain white plastic mask using scrapbook paper and lace. I’m not sure how to mount the paper on the plastic, especially over the nose part. Thank you.

you could decoupage it to the mask very easily. because the plastic is slick, you need to lightly sand it with really fine sandpaper to remove the shine/slick part. You can either cut the paper to fit the mask in one piece–do this before adding any decoupage glue to anything–or you can just add pieces of torn paper to the mask as you glue. Once you decide whether you want a solid mask or town pieces, you simply paint on the decoupage glue on the mask, and on the back of the paper. Place the paper on the mask and again add decoupage glue to the top to seal it. It’s actually very easy.

I recently started digital scrapbooking and I tried scanning my scrapbook paper, but there is a lot of noise and grains in the scanned file. I scan on 300 dpi and 4 x 6 in. The scanner’s glass has no problem since I tried scanning receipts and magazines. Would I have this problem if I bought a scanner designed for scanning scrapbook paper?

Okay, so I have decided to take one photo every day to represent that day and then put all of them pictures in one large scrapbook. I need the scrapbook to be very thick and to be big enough to last me the whole year. Any ideas where I can buy one? Or could I just make one? If so, how?

Why not make one, you could use cardboard or sheets of wallpaper or you could try your local craft shop.
