When I bought them, I thought they were sticky, but they’re just clear plastic overlays.
I don’t know how to adhere them to the page without being able to see the glue through them because they are clear…I don’t get it!

You can use brads or eyelets at corners, or hand sew them on, or use Scotch vellum tape that is made to not show or use a Xyron sticker machine (my favorite)

I’m talking about tips, techniques, your own experiences in getting your beautiful pages done but in a time-saving way.

doing a page or so easy. When I get a roll of film developed, I take out my scrapbooking supplies and right away choose a color/theme. I then cut many different shapes out of the colors I am going to use. I pick some stickers and anything else I think I might like. I then put it all in a large baggie with those photo’s and put it away until I have more time to do it. Then when I am in the mood to scrapbook and have plenty of time, I take it all out and now all I have to do is lie out my page and ~ VIOLA!
Once I had some time and did nothing more than pages. I would design page after page, with mostly different colors. Now when I get a whole bunch of picture, I can just sit down and add them to my already made pages.

Ebay has some nice pre-made pages to purchase too!

Hi, I’m trying to decide which of the machines I really want to buy. I really want the cricut expression, but I know I won’t use it enough to justify paying a lot of money for it. SO which one do you guys like better: Sizzix or Cuttlebug…and WHY?

SIZZIX!!!!

Why, because it is a much better machine. It is studier and better made.

And it will use any other die cut and embossing folder. I have used Cuttlebug, Spellbinder, and Quickkutz die cuts in my Sizzix machine. You can also cut out different materials. I have used the Sizzix machine to cut out circles on basal wood that I painted and put on a wooden Christmas tree. I have cut out 2/3 layers of cardstock. I have cut out and embossed metal.
I have had the original Sizzix machine for over 10 years and now have the new Big Kick. My sister in law just got the new electric Big Kick. Which is great if you have any problems with strength in your hands.

Anyone looking for scrapbooking group in the Beaufort, or Hilton Head area (South Carolina)? Would love to find a group of people to crop and stamp with once a month or so and stay in touch via my new yahoo group.

i would suggest posting this at a digital scrapbooking site like digishoptalk.com – all the digi scrappers go there and many of them do hybrid and paper scrapping as well – theres bound to be someone living in your area! (i live in nj, sorry )

I love scrapbooking and want to create a scrapbooking room, I obviously need a desk, but as you scrapbookers will know, this is often not enough space.
So im asking for any tips for organising my scrapbooking supplies.

Get clear plastic crates of varying sizes… with labels. Some that are compartmentalized (like a fishing tackle box) are great.
Also a ‘pigeon hole’ wall-mounted rack is great (for ribbon and other small things)
Label everything…

Need to know as I love scrapbooking and dont always have time to browse to find these companies! I am looking for companies that sell stickers, to paper to vellum paper to die-cuts etc..

another thing that you can do is go to the site for your favorite supply manufacturer. I don’t scrap but I use the stuff for a lot of other projects

Does anybody have a good, reliable, on-line source for the Susy Ratto brush stroke alphabet letters? These things are getting harder & harder to find and I love them.
I do not care to use the rubber stamps or the new computer software because they don’t have that special "Susy touch".
